What are private messages & Mentions, and how do they work?

A private message allows for members to communicate privately in the context of a conversation. Whilst the messages are shown in the channel, they are not sent by SMS to the contact. They remain only a little note in the midst of the writing conversation to assist you make a note in regards to the proceedings for yourself and other members. It can be beneficial to ask a question to a different member and get a reply without leaving the page. For solo plans, you are able to record actions taken or conclusions after a conversation is finished.

Several notes on private messages: privatemessage are available for many subscription plans
The username, profile picture and an occasion stamp is going to be displayed with the private message message to exhibit which user added the private message
Utilize the @ symbol to say a member in an exclusive note. The active members names will show above the text box, you can select an individual from the list.
Text, emojis, and images could be added as a personal note
private messages do not count towards your total monthly SMS/MMS allowance

Creating a personal note
It's easy! You should use the global 'Create' button from anywhere in the application form to have a private message:

Share your note
Since private messages have been in essence regular messages, you are able to decide to fairly share them with whomever you'd like, crafting the privacy settings to your needs.

For instance, it could sound right to generally share the note above with Stan. In case you wanted to write anything that's very personal and shouldn't be visible to Stan, you can take two notes: One for your own personel eyes only, and one that's shared with Stan.

Revisiting Notes
Underneath the performance review form there's a tab that highlights data from within Small Improvements. Your entire messages about Stan will automatically arrive underneath Stan's performance review form.
